BASIC GUIDELINES:

There is currently no character limit in place... three is the likely first cap, but activity requirements have yet to be determined. Sex is allowed in Compound Five. Your characters may have sexual relations within the game setting. Sex/porn threads are not, however, permitted in the main community. Please move the actual sex scene to a character journal. (For stalking/keeping track of where things go, you can drop a 'fade to black' type comment in the thread with a link to your journal post.) Please be considerate of your fellow players and when in doubt, utilize OOC communication methods!

BAD NO DON'T DO IT:

- Stay in-character! This one is kind of a given, right? Going out of character/deviating from canon behavior without development or explanation is a no-no. - Don't be a dick! There is a distinct difference between playing an asshole character and being rude, offensive, dismissive, etc. in out of character interactions. - NO GOD-MODING. One warning will be given before a strike is issued regarding god-moding. This includes, but is not limited to; a) knowing information about another character that has not been discussed with the player and would cause issues with the character in question; b) controlling another character during gameplay without the player's consent; c) sweeping in for a dramatic rescue without the player's consent -- sometimes they have it planned with another person, sometimes they want to be injured or status affected, just be considerate!; d) being unreasonably invincible/all-knowing in regards to the game itself, e.g. solving the puzzles on your own, defeating threats all on your own without giving others a shot. Please be considerate and respectful of your fellow players.

ACTIVITY/STRIKE/HIATUS/DROP/IDLE

Activity: At this time, there is no policy regarding activity, aside from the recommended monthly plot post attendance. Strikes: In most cases one or two warnings will be given before a strike is issued -- three strikes will result in the offending player being asked to leave the game. Hiatuses: Please post to the OOC community regarding hiatuses of one week or more. Tag it with 'hiatus' for convenience! If you are going to be gone for an extended period of time and want an IC hiatus excuse, please e-mail compoundmods [@] gmail and we'll figure one out. I have lots of them, but which are viable depends on the point in the game plot we're at! Drops: Please post to the OOC community or send an e-mail (to compoundmods [@] gmail.com) if you wish to drop your character, so they can be removed from the taken characters list. Idles: At this time, there is no policy regarding idling.
